Verba Jo Bousquet, age 93 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, at her residence.

Verba was born April 17, 1932, in Dial, GA, the daughter of the late Marvin Woody and Margie Davis Woody. She was a graduate of Fannin County High School. She worked as a receptionist for Bell South Telecommunications. Verba was also of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her son, Michael J. Addington, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A direct burial was held at the Riverhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay, GA.
