Ms. Wanda Bailey Davis, age 84 of Ellijay, passed away Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital of Jasper.

Ms. Davis was born on May 9th, 1938 in Gilmer County to the late Arnold Bailey and Margaret Reece Bailey. She was employed by Trans Art Design and was a member of Harvest Missionary Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Davis, and son, David G. Davis.

Survivors include her two sons, Randy Davis and Sherry of Jasper and Gerald Davis of Ellijay; two brothers, Kenneth Bailey of Ellijay and Jim Bailey of Ellijay; sister, Marjorie Anderson of Ellijay; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Brian Davis, Keith Davis, Chris Davis, Camden Davis, Thomas Davis, and Travis Davis.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 1st, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family will be accepting flowers; however, they respectfully ask that no food be brought to the funeral home.
