Mr. Dennis Wayne Brown, age 73 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at his home.

Wayne was born on December 20th, 1950 in Cedartown, GA to the late Biachel Rufus Brown and the late Lottie Ester Jameson Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville, GA. His most recent employment was at the Atlanta Zoo where he was very interactive and loving with the animals. Wayne was an avid animal lover in which he enjoyed participating in horse riding lessons at his farm. He also enjoyed playing drums.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jackie Brown; two daughters, Stephanie Nash and Valerie Magil; two stepchildren, Curtis (Stacey) Anderson and Michelle Anderson; two sisters, Ester Yvonne Reeve and Linda (J.W.) Fortner; 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
