Mrs. Wendy Ann Knodel, age 52 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday December 24 ^th , 2021.

Mrs. Knodel was born in Fayetteville on January 21 ^st , 1969 to the late Roy Cox and Dottie McGaha Cox. Mrs. Knodel was employed at Walmart for several years, and was most recently employed in Medical Billing and Coding. She was a member of Ellijay First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Barry Knodel; one daughter, Stephanie Padgett (Joseph); mother, Dottie Cox; one brother, Tony Cox (Christy); three grandchildren, Bentley and Joshua Driver and Starling Padgett; nieces and nephews, T.J Cox, Brandy Harper, Shelbi Buqueras, Justin Cox, and Cody Cox.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 30 ^th , 2021 at 4 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. David Mullins officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Knodel will be cremated.

Mrs. Knodel will lie-in-state on Thursday December 30 ^th from 12 PM until 4 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Ellijay First Baptist Church.
