Mr. William Charles Foster, also known as Bill {Billy according to his family}, age 47 of Blue Ridge, passed away on Monday, July 31st, at his home.

Mr. Foster was born on October 7, 1975, in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

He was survived by his parents William Foster and Maryellen Van Tassell (Lewis). Bill attended Neshaminy Schools in PA till the 11th grade but graduated from Christiansburg HS in Virginia. He also graduated from Parks College of Aeronautical Engineering of St. Louis University, in 2000. Bill loved aviation and even enjoyed flying, getting his pilot's license in 1998.  He worked in aviation for Gulfstream, Boeing, Lockheed, and other companies. Locally he worked for Folgers Gas and more. He also drove a truck for C R England and Western Express.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his son, Korbn Foster, and his mother William's first wife Sara Corell of Kannapolis, NC; his sister, Julianne Gant (Tommy); their children, Sean Lawrence, Cheyenne, Shannon, and Shania; his sister, Michelle Pradhan, and her son Nikunj of St Louis, MO.

He will be truly missed for his unique sense of humor and great storytelling. He had an infectious laugh and always made you laugh even in bad situations.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 27th at 3:00 pm, located at United Community Bank in Blue Ridge, GA. 4000 Appalachian Highway. The family will be livestreaming the service. Livestream link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85000776181
