Mr. William "Bill" Daryle Pipkey, age 73 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Ellijay.

Bill was born on July 20th, 1950 in Portland, Oregon. He proudly served our nation in the United States Army, earning 19 medals. Mr. Pipkey loved to fish. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Pipkey, and brother, David Pipkey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Bonds Pipkey; daughter, Danielle Zimmerman, and three grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 on Thursday, May 24th, 2024, being escorted and honored by the Patriot Guard Riders.
