Mrs. Willma Earl Fountain, age 77 of Ellijay, GA; passed away on Sunday, August 11th, 2024 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

Mrs. Fountain was born on October 16th, 1946 in Ellijay to the late Earl Elmer Dillard and Artie Faye Stiles Dillard. Willma was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Willma is preceded in death by her parents Earl Elmer Dillard and Artie Stiles Dillard, and Siblings Vera Champion, Charles Dillard, Raymond Dillard, and Melvin Dillard.

She is survived by her daughters; Daris Hester, Nancy Fountain, Sherry Wheeler (Robby) Sons; Morgan Fountain, Jason Fountain, Brothers; Reed Dillard, Harold Dillard, Sisters; Geneava Watkins and Lucy Pendley, grandchildren; Anthony Hester and Billy Hester, Johnathan Fowler, Jessie Fountain, Kasey Lake, Zachary, and Sean Plumley, and Riley Wheeler, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Susan Newton and Sandy Mullins officiating. Pallbearers will be Morgan Fountain, Jason Fountain, Anthony Hester, Billy Hester, Zachary Plumley, and Sean Plumley.

The family will meet with friends on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food will be accepted but the family requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home, In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with final funeral expenses.
