Mr. Winsbur "Wimp" Harrison Grant, age 81 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, May 20 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Grant was born on February 23 ^rd , 1941 in Forsyth, County to the late Uyless Grant and Lizzie McGhee Grant. He was a mail carrier for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Grant is preceded in death by his loving wife, Johnnie Thomas Grant, and sister, Ellen Stover of Mableton, GA.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Sid Brooks of Ellijay; three brothers, Billy Grant of Blue Ridge; Vernie Grant of Ellijay, and Charles Grant of Ecuador; two sisters, Betty Enslen of Mabelton, and Florence Bennett of Acworth; four grandchildren, Brett Brooks, Caitlin Pettit, Garrett Pettit, and Oaklyn Pettit also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 23 ^rd , 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Nealey and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Lee Parks, Wayne Holt, Bobby Pettit, Fulton Pettit, Toby Yarbrough, Joseph McCollum, Garrett Pettit, and Darrel Jones with Honorary Pallbearer, Leon Parks.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22 ^nd , 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
