SMITH

Mr. Marvin Smith age 78 of Talking Rock GA passed away July 23 ^rd 2021 at his residence with family by his side.

Mr. Smith was born June 11 ^th 1943 in Pickens County the son of the late Howard Smith and Clara Belle Keener. He was a timber cutter logging for many, many years. He also loved horseback riding with his family. Mr. Smith was also of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his brother Edward Smith and Sister Estelle Teems.

Survivors include: Wife Marselle Smith of the Home, Son Eric Smith Talking Rock, Daughters Jennifer Smith Talking Rock, Sherry Smith, Talking Rock, Brother, C.L. Smith, Talking Rock, 2 Sisters Floy Henderson, Jasper, Wilmalee Chastain, Ellijay Sister-in-law, and Special friend Joan Jones, Audrey Fountain, grandson Brent Payne.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 27 ^th 2021 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Henderson and Rev. Glen Arnold. Interment will follow at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers serving will be Ed Teems, Dennis Ponders, Donnie Fountain, Jamie Priest, Clinton Jones, Jimbob Smith, and honorary will be Brent Payne.

The family will receive friends Monday July 26 ^th 2021 from 4pm until 9pm and all-day Tuesday July 27 ^th 2021 from 9am until the funeral hour of 2pm at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses in memory of Mr. Marvin Smith.
