Rules of the Cemetery

• Burial plots are provided at no cost.
• A vault/outer burial container is required for every decedent buried.
• All flowers will be removed 30 days after the decedent is buried.
• The grave will be tamped and sown.
• No gravel, coping, concrete, concrete statues, benches (unless approved by Bernhardt Funeral Home), or lights of any type are allowed on graves.
• Foot markers (such as VA military markers) are permitted but must be installed flush with the ground.
• No live flowers, wreaths, potted plants, loose flowers, or blankets are permitted on the grave 30 days after the decedent is buried and the grave has been sown.

These items will be removed by the groundskeeper.

• All decorations must be placed on the tombstone.
• Flowers Allowed Year-Round
• Vase Flowers – Flowers placed in the vases located on either side of the headstone.
• Tomb Hooks/Saddles – Flowers attached to the top or middle of the tombstone.
• Flowers on the Tombstone – Flowers placed anywhere on the tombstone are permitted.
